WEDGE
SOCKETS
AFD wedge sockets
are tested with IWRC EHS traction steel elevator rope and
exceed the requirements of the B44 Canadian Safety Code and
ANSI A17.1 Rule 2.20.9 for tensile strength and elongation.
Assembly includes
socket, wedge, nuts, bolts, washers, cotter pins and retaining
clips.
Springs and
isolation bushings are also available upon request.

TENSIOMETER
The AFD TD-100
wire rope tensioning device is essential to achieving quick
and accurate adjustments of wire rope installation and maintenance.
Kit includes detailed instruction guide.
All ropes should
be checked for tension immediately upon installation and several
weeks later for the greatest financial & operative benefits.
Equal rope tension adds to the life of the wire rope and the
sheaves. The TD100 is simple to use and accurate. The TD100
saves on call backs and cable shortening.
